This typical Aveyron stew is made from cuts of beef marinated in strong red wine, vegetables and spices. The unctuous sauce will transport you to culinary heaven.
Serves one or two.
Best with pasta, rice, jacket potatoes. hash browns, or corn bread (called 'millas' in Aveyron).
Ingredients: beef, red wine, brown stock, tomato paste, bacon rind, onion, carrot, modified corn starch, salt, pepper.
Preparation: open the can but leave the stew inside. Place the can in simmering water and heat it (bain-marie style) until the stew is very hot.
